About the event
The Dog Walking service by Smoke-Free Homes venture is a fundraising event that is being held from February 23, 2022 up to the end of April, 2022. Our members have volunteered their time to walk all the beautiful puppies/doggos at the UBC campus or nearby. Each team member has a profile detailing their experience with dogs and what type of dog size they are able to manage. We have spots available throughout the week, please make your booking at least 24 hours in advanced.
All proceeds from this fundraising event will be donated to the Smoke-Free Homes initiative, providing eco-stoves to families in rural Guatemala to provide access to clean cooking. Our goal this year is to subsidize 50 eco-stoves for 50 families. You can learn more about our work in the venture's main page.
We offer two services:
- 30 minute walk for $15
- 1 hour walk for $20
Once you fill out the RSVP form you will receive a confirmation email/message that outlines any important information or next steps. Payments will be accepted through e-transfers to the EWB bank account after the dog walking service has been completed.
