What is xChange?

Engineers Without Borders (EWB) unites socially engaged students and professionals to drive systemic
change in Canada and beyond. Guided by our Systems Change Leadership model, our community spans 26+ chapters in Canadian Universities, Technical Institutes and Professional networks. This fall, we're thrilled to present "Engineering Climate-Resilient Futures" as part of our xChange event series. This series of 4 regional events in Waterloo, Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver leverages engineering and tech to combat climate change's impact on vulnerable communities.

Join us for a full-day event featuring renowned expert speakers focusing on engineering and technology- based solutions for climate resilience. The event will feature a Q&A panel of local

startups/founders/entrepreneurs and researchers, as well as four workshops (focusing on sustainability and entrepreneurship) throughout the day hosted by local partners. The team will be running a collaborative, elevator pitch-style activity at the end of the day for participants to culminate their discoveries from each workshop.
